Wiki Loves Monuments - The international photo contest around cultural heritage monuments
Competition from September 1st – 31st: Take part in the Wiki Love Monuments Contest with our 123POI app. Find monuments in your area or elsewhere, take a photo with your cell phone and directly upload it to Wikimedia Commons via the 123POI app.
The special edition of the 123POI app let's you easily participate in the international photo contest, which is supported by Wikimedia. Discover monuments in your neighborhood or on the go and snap a shot. The app allows you to immediately upload the picture and take part in the competition. You can also use already taken photos from your device to compete in the Wiki Loves Monuments Contest. All the important information that is necessary to participate – such as title, ID, license information and username - will be transmitted when uploading the photo.
By participating in this contest, you will help to improve Wikipedia!
